Mike has had a restful weekend. He is now at Willis Knighton Pierremont on the LifeCare floor. No posts were made over the weekend regarding Mike because the family wanted to allow him a chance to get situated and go through LifeCare's evaluations.
He will be having a plate replacement on his halo today, because it was causing some problems for Mike.....it was too large and putting too much pressure on his abdomen.
AT this time, there isn't much else to report. He is stable, comfortable, and still in a coma.
Pray for Ericka...she had to go back to work today. They are going to try to get into some kind of routine and normalcy as much as possible.
After meeting with the Case Manager today, Ericka will have a better grasp on plans of action in Mike's care and will also be able to give an idea of how visitations work.
Who is Mike Carter?
Mike is a father of five, a friend to many, a respected co-worker and supervisor, and a husband.

Ericka and family, as you know I have called everyday to check on my friend. I have started another prayer chain going and if there is anything you or Kevin need do not hesitate to call me, Sonny has my number. I will be there a the drop of a hat. My prayers continue to pour out to you and your children, as well as Mike. You are the angel Mike needs on his side. Love to you all, Tracy McCullin
Sharron- Thanks so much for the updates!
Ericka- still praying and thinking of you often. :)
love,Candy
Ericka - We love you and are still praying for you here. our church is keeping you in their prayers and our family members have been lifting you in prayer as well. We will pray for you as you return to work - pray that God will strengthen you to handle all the different responsibilities you have. Be sure to allow God to heal you as well. You can only give from what you have been filled with. Let God fill your soul each day - one day at a time. Sometimes one moment at a time. You are loved by many and all God's children are coming together to pray for blessings on your family. Even though Mike is in a coma, we pray that he will hear the prayers and that his heart will feel God's love. We miss you.

Ericka, we've never met, however I've met Mike on a couple of occasions. Once at the Linemans rodeo in Kansas City. I believe that God has kept Mike here for a reason, first and foremost for his salvation and salvation to all his family. We're praying earnestly for his healing, I know God has him in the coma for a reason, so his body can heal, he will wake him up when He is ready. We're praying daily for you to have the strength you need, even more so now that you have gone back to work. We're praying for all the kids also. Thanks to Sharron for all your work on the website, keeping us updated. You're in our prayers also. Mike
