January 16th - Day 12

Still no change in Mike's condition. His pressures were fairly good throughout the day. They have him on an air mattress now. Apparently this is a good thing.

His right drain tube in his chest has been removed. They has his peg inserted and are still planning on performing the trach tomorrow. However, when Ericka called this evening to see what time the surgery would be, she was told that he had been put on the wait list. Meaning that his surgery will either be late in the day or he could get bumped again.

Ericka said that he was doing a lot of moving today. Just hands and feet...small movements, but movements. He clenches his fists too.

Mike still remains in a coma.
