Sharron- This is Mike's Aunt Nancy. His Uncle Darrel and I have used this blog as a way to keep in touch with what is going on with Mike and not have to bother Erika during this time. Bless you for providing this blog for all of us. We also have our church and several other churches praying daily for Mike. I check the blog several times a day to see if there are any updates. I admit that I have not kept up with comments so I don't know what is going on. It is hard to believe that some people have such little to do or such meanness in their soul that they would use this forum
to spout their own ignorance. I understand if you can't block the comments and need to take the blog down, but I wanted to take a moment to thank you for what you have done for our family. God Bless.

Hello.... I just wanted to say that I am keeping Mike in my prayers... I am actually one of the paramedics that worked on Mike at the accident, it was our truck that was initially dispatched to the call... I am glad to hear that he is doing well, there are many times when we do not get updates on what happens with people... God Bless and I am glad to hear that he is doing so well in therapy....Keith Meshell EMT-Paramedic

I just wanted to encourage you to keep this blog up. Sharron, why don't you change your settings to moderate the comments before they are posted? I check this blog often to find out about Mike and how to pray. I also have a church member who visits this blog. Please keep this up...it helps so many know what is going on and through prayers specifically helps Mike, Erica and the kids.

Keep up the good work Sharron. This is the only way I know what to pray for concerning the Carter family. I also HIGHLY suggest you moderate your comments. I know I started doing this. Erika, you are in our prayers!!!

I was saddened when I checked the blog last week and saw that someone had chosen to use this blog as a venue to spew their garbage. I grew up with Mike and now live out of state but the blog enables me to keep up with his recovery and to know some specific ways to pray for him. The only other way I have to receive information is through a mutual friend. I have not seen Mike in many years and do not know his wife and children. I do not care to know what is going on behind the scenes of all of this. I just want to be able to come here and read of the wonderful things that are happening with Mike in his recovery. Thank you to those who have made the blog possible!

Sharron, thank you so much for this blog, you cannot imagine how many are praying for Mike and Ericka and the family. I am Dan Pruitt's sister, so that makes Mike our step nephew-in-law. I have at least 20 other people and churches watching the blogs as updates and the prayers keep coming. Remember evil is everywhere and we are never free of it. Don't worry we can all deal with it. Prayers and love continuing...Shelia in Kansas
