Surgery today to lengthen tendons in ankles so that Mike can flatten his feet. This is a good thing and will help with standing and walking when the time comes. OT, PT and speech twice a day six days a week. Halo is off. He is keeping his eyes open more. Trach weaning has begun and hope to have trach out by middle of may.
We encourage visitors on the weekends. Visitation is from 12:30 to 8PM on Saturday and 10:30 to 6PM on Sunday. If you would like to stay the night you may call Touro and ask for Security to reserve a room. The rooms are $15 a night. If you plan to go visit please call Ericka so that we don't have multiple people visiting at one time.
Please continue to Pray for Mike!
