Just wanted to let everyone know that Mike is getting settled in at Touro. They get him up everyday at 7:00am and get him dressed and ready for the day. He is treated like someone that is functioning normally. They do extensive therapy with him everyday. Ericka spoke with his nurses on Saturday to see how he was doing. They said that he had already started therapy and was showing more movement than he had up here at Lifecare.
He is still in a coma.

I hope Jimmy Buffet is palying loud and proud at Turo! Mike is a great guy, personally and professionally!! He gave me strength and direction when I was lost in the piney woods among men much bigger than me! He taught me "They can't eat you." A truth I hope he still belives!! Come home, Mike!!!
