Mike has been having problems tolerating his feeding tube. this has been mentioned before. However, they have put him on a different gastro antibiotic that has helped with the ulcers AND they have changed his feeding formula. He is now doing really well tolerating the food and they have increased his dosage.
Friday was a good day. PT started working with Mike. They strapped him into an ortho chair. He remained seated there for 30 minutes. His vital signs remained good during this period of time. This is great. Next week, they will begin other forms of PT.
Mike still remains in a coma.
Ericka is really doing well with the adjustment of being back at work and splitting time between home, hospital, and work.
