September 12th
For those of you who have called and those who are wondering, Mike will NOT have to be moved this weekend due to hurricane Ike. Mike is about an hour north of Dallas. They will probably get a lot of rain and wind just like us. There should not be any threat of flooding as the house that he is living in and the treatment facilities are located in an elevated area. Thank you for all of your phone calls and prayers.

It is good that Mike did not need to move due to Hurricane Ike. Just wanted to let you know that my wife and I check on this on a regular basis and Mike and his family are constantly in our prayers. It is extremely hard to imagine going through such a lengthy recovery, but it is great to hear that progress is made. God Bless everyone involved!!!
Britt and I want you to know that we are keeping up with Mike's progress through this blog and that we think of all of you often. You guys are all heroes in our book. Praying for continued progress.
