March 30th - End of Week 12

Well...Mike will be leaving for Touro Rehabilitation Center this week. It is located in New Orleans. This will begin a new phase for Ericka and the kids. It means a 6 or more hour commute to see Mike.

His condition has not changed dramatically. In other words, he is still in a coma. However, it is a blessing that they now are assessing him at a state that qualifies him for acceptance into Touro. At the beginning of the week Ericka was looking into nursing homes. Remember that this was not a good thing because Mike wouldn't get the rehab that he needs. Well, prayers do get answered. By Tuesday they had accepted him to Touro...a rehabilitative center.

Stay in prayer for the family as the make this transition.
